All indications point to a very good year for Texas Saltwater Fishing Guides.  Some guides are already booking trips, and this is always a good sign.

The Texas Saltwater Fishing Guides web received a record number of hits and visits during the month of January.

Also, reflecting better business conditions, is the fact that four saltwater fishing guides joined the organization in February.  We welcome all of these new members and appreciate their business.

Looks Like a Good Year!

Saltwater fishing guides may be in for a good year in 2005.  At TSFGw, we have several indications that things are looking up.  The web site received a record number of hits and visits during the normally dead month of January.  For the month, we received an unprecedented 26,310 hits and 2,979 visits.  Those guides who are on our web site receive a monthly report of visits to their web sites, and these figures are up.  What makes these statistics all the more interesting is that January is normally one of the months with the lowest activity.

Captain Tom Hall, President of the Coastal Bend Guides Association is also upbeat about the prospects this year.  At the San Antonio Boat Show, he reported that things seemed very positive.

So get everything ready for a good year, guides.  Things are looking up.
