Publisher's Comments

This month, we begin a new emphasis on the needs, questions, and concerns of the guides.  Our ezine now has a new format.  Our contact information is displayed to the right and we would really like to get your input.  Please contact us with your thoughts on articles, the layout, anything about the magazine at all.  We hope you enjoy our new format.

Our Newest Clients

Captain Dale Dixon is our newest client.  Dale specializes in boat reconditioning and repair.  His web site is at http://www.fiberglasssolutionsoftexas.com.  Check out his "Before and After" pictures.  You won't believe the difference.

Captain Michael Rolf has renewed his membership in the TSFGw.  Captain Mike fishes the area around Matagorda Bay.

Picture of the Week

You may have noticed a "Picture of the Week" on our home page.  This is a new feature that helps promote our guides.  If you have a picture of the "perfect catch", email it to us.  The best one gets placed on our home page with a link to the guide's web site.

The Power of Testimonials

Testimonials should be an ongoing part of your web site.  Let people read what your customers think of their trips with you.  Nothing advertises your capabilities better than your own happy customers taking time out of their busy schedules to let you know what a good time they had.  For a look at a great use of testimonials, go to Kevin McCoy's web site at: http://www.reelmccoyguideservice.com and look at the vertical scroll on the left side of the home page.

Testimonial can be placed anywhere on your web site, but it's a good idea to have them in your menu, or else display a prominent link to them on your home page.

Humor

Now this guy has been sitting at the computer for way too long.  Sometimes your humble web master feels this way too.

If you have something humorous that you would like to share with others, just click on the email link and send it to us.
